"Manny" arrived in Ireland from New Jersey, USA in March 2010 just after his
1st birthday. It was such a relief to be able to fly him direct in to Belfast International Airport. Thank you to Lisnabreeny Quarantine Kennels in Belfast for all their advice and help in making this possible. Thank you to McMagic & Pebbles Run Kennels for giving me the joy and privilege of owning one of their beautiful puppies. This was in the planning for some time and I was delighted when it all fell into place. "Manny" has the most beautiful temperament and immediately fitted in with Tiger, Fighter & Holly. He is so full of love and life and is the only one of the dogs who Holly ( the boss) never managed to tame!!
Manny had enjoyed a very successful show career in USA where he was handled by his breeder Patty McCallum and Amy & Andrew Green who owned and bred his beautiful sire and with whom he lived until he fulfilled the Pet Passport requirements to enable him to travel to N Ireland.
He earned his American Champion Title in January 2010 at the tender age of 10 months.
When he arrived he was out of coat so did not attend his first show until April 2010. At his 2nd Ch Show on 18 April he won his first Reserve Green Star and this was followed by another 2 RGS before he won his first Green Star with BOB & Group
3 at Cork Ch Show on 6th June. The other 6 needed to complete his Irish Title followed quickly after.

Deise Ch Show 27 June '10 Green Star Dog, BOB & Group 2
Bray Ch Show 3 July '10 Green Star Dog, BOB, Group 1 & 3rd BIS
ILKA Ch Show 4 July '10 Green Star Dog & BOB
Sligo Ch Show 17 July '10 Green Star Dog & BOB
Dun Laoghaire Ch Show: 1 August '10 Green Star Dog, BOB & Group 2
"NEW IRISH CHAMPION " in RECORD time.
In between this he had also managed to win his Junior Ch Title in June '10.
He also won the Junior Stakes at Fermoy Int Show in May '10 and Munster Group 5 Show in June '10.
He attended his first KC Open Show at Omagh on 24th April '10 where he won BOB & The Pastoral Group. His great success at Open Shows continued where he won many more BOB's , Group wins and 2 x RBIS . He achieved his Show Certificate of Merit and then withdrew from Open Shows.
At Belfast Ch Show in 2010 he won the RCC and his Stud Book Number at just 18 months old. This win qualified him for the Northern Samoyed Society's prestigious Samoyed of The Year event.
Since then he has gone on to win many more Green Stars, BOB's, 2 x CACIB's & 1 x RCACIB and Group placings in Ireland. He won the Champion Stakes at Fermoy Int Show and Clonmel Ch Shows in 2012 and this qualified him for The Champion of Champion Finals which were held in Dublin in January 2013. He put on a great performance and got through to the final 12 dogs on the night.
In February I travelled to Eindhoven Int Show in the Netherlands where Manny won CAC, CACIB, BOB & Group 3. After this show he remained in Holland with my good friends Wilma & Jurgen from Dunblane Kennel who have handled him to more fabulous wins in Holland & Belgium.
He won CAC & CACIB at Hoogstraten Int Show in Belgium on 17 Feb '13 and this gave Manny his INTERNATIONAL TITLE.
A REAL INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION having won CACIB's IN 3 different countries - Ireland, Holland & Belgium.
He won his 4th CAC & BOB at Arnhem Nat Show in May which gave him his DUTCH CH TITLE.
At Antwerp Int Show in Belgium on 14 April '13 he won CAC, CACIB, BOB and topped the very strong Group 5 and then went on to finish 5th BIS. To say I was delighted is an understatement.
Since May he has been shown lightly due to a very heavy coat drop but he has still managed RCAC's & RCACIB's in Holland, Belgium & Dortmund.
He is well on his way to becoming a Belgian Champion!!
I have to say a very sincere thank you to Wilma and Jurgen who have made this all possible and who have taken such good care of Manny.. I have missed him very much but am content as I know he is in very good hands and is treated like one of their own dogs. I also know that he is happy and is enjoying the company of the lovely girls at Dunblane Kennel. I also have to thank Jean, Paul & Kelly Lawless who provided the transport from Ireland to Holland for both the Winners Show and Eindhoven. They were the ones who made all the arrangements and did all the driving. I will be eternally grateful to you all.
"Manny" has sired 2 lovely litters at Konda Kennel in Ireland, 1 at Arctic Aivik Kennel in Switzerland and 1 at Dunblane Kennel in Holland and I am very proud that you all chose Manny to be the "daddy" of your babies. It has been great watching these babies grow through the weekly photos and videos I received from their owners.
"Manny" will continue his show career in Ireland when he returns soon.
